The Kansas Explorers Club

The Kansas Explorers Club was created to inspire, educate, and encourage the exploration and appreciation of Kansas... and to have fun doing it.

  • Where is the best place in Kansas to get cinnamon rolls? Which cafe serves the best coconut pie? Where can you find old-fashioned hardware stores, stone bridges, or sculptures in the country?

  • The Kansas Explorers Club, a group of people who love Kansas and love traveling around the state, can provide answers to burning questions like these.
  • More importantly, the Kansas Explorers Club is a tool designed to learn about Kansas communities

Benefits of the Kansas Explorers Club

  • Explorer Newsletter - An every-other-month newsletter that is packed with Kansas experiences and will help you plan day trips for yourself, your family and friends!
  • Make A Difference - Explorers are also encouraged to make a difference in Kansas communities by feeling good about spending money in locally-owned stores, by appreciating a town as it is, and by wanting to learn more about rural culture.
  •
  • The Happening and the Bring Your Own Lawn Chair series are planned activities for 2008 summer
